HONOR VETERANS NOW

It's an honor!

Providing meals as long as there is a need!

Our Story

We were shocked… veterans living in our community who had honorably served our country were now in situations where they were unable to afford to eat!

Some of these veterans had served in WWII and Korea, but others were younger men and women who had been involved in more recent conflicts. They all treasured their privacy, dignity, and pride, and were reluctant to ask for charity, even though they were struggling.

Our Role

HONOR VETERANS NOW (HVN) works to eliminate hunger in military veterans’ lives.

— Especially for those under the age of 60 —& because there is no other support for them while preserving their privacy, dignity, and pride.

Our broader objective is to provide nutritious meals to qualified veterans of any age who honorably served our country, for as long as their need exists. We perform this service with the support of our local community organizations as we work to secure funds to sustain this mission.

HONOR VETERANS NOW started in Texas and will expand to other states.

It is not simply an act of kindness to help these veterans: It's an honor!

Our Vision

To eliminate food insecurity in military veterans’ lives — especially those under 60 years of age — while preserving their privacy, dignity, and pride.

Our Objective

HVN solicits support from everyone: individuals, churches, civic organizations, corporations and foundations in order to secure the funding to sustain this mission to provide meals to qualified veterans as long as needed.

HVN is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations are tax deductible.

Funds given to HVN are used to further the organization's objectives and will be applied in accordance with donor designations.
